Leverett home sales mostly undisclosed in August, two known prices span wide range
Nine properties changed hands in Leverett between July 31 and Aug. 29, but only two deeds disclosed a sale price: $58,700 for 20 Cushman Rd and $350,000 for 158 North Leverett Rd, the period's top recorded sale. With prices disclosed in just two of nine transactions, a reliable median cannot be calculated and overall market tone cannot be assessed from this data. Montague Road saw the most activity, with three recorded transfers, none with disclosed prices. Several transactions involved banks as buyer or seller, including Greenfield Cooperative Bank, Greenfield Savings Bank and Evergreen Bank Group, though the deed data does not specify the nature of those transfers.
