Bank and mortgage entities figure in two-thirds of Leverett's latest recorded property transfers
Fifteen property deeds were recorded in Leverett between Aug. 14 and Sep. 12, but only three listed a sale price, ranging from $45,000 to $596,250 with a median of $450,000. The month's highest-priced sale was 72 Juggler Meadow Road at $596,250, sold to T Bank and Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems Inc. Ten of the 15 transactions, two-thirds, involved a bank, credit union or mortgage company as buyer or seller, and two records for 363 North Leverett Road appear to reflect the same transaction filed twice. With most consideration amounts undisclosed, the available data does not support conclusions about overall price trends this period.
